Jean-Jacques Barrett is the Co-founder of Tulum Strength Club.
He began bodybuilding in 2007, won the MVP Quest Physique Model Search, and has been competing ever since. He is currently ranked 3rd in the world with the WBFF, and is the 2018 North American Champion.

Jean-Jacques is not just a talented bodybuilder, he is a highly sought after Physique and Transformation Coach.
He interned at La Bat Cave in Montreal, under the mentorship of Olympic Coaches Sebastian Boucher and Yannik Morin. Sebastian now runs his Osteopathic and Performance clinic and Yannik continues to coach Olympian’s at his facility in Waterloo.
JJ was constantly exposed to the best training methodologies and practical application of exercise, nutrition and psychology at La Bat Cave up until 2015. He still continues to take courses, attend seminars, and increase his knowledge base with the most current information.
This experience was influential in his development of a system of strength and conditioning for the natural athlete. He has been highly successful coaching both men and women of all backgrounds and ages to achieve their transformation and health goals, and to win dozens of Pro cards with various organizations including the IFBB, CBBF, WBFF, IDFA, Serious About Fitness and Physique Canada.
